Implementation of School-Based Management (SBM) Through Optimization of Education Stake Holders Towards Improving the Quality of School Climate

Abstract

The concern of parents, committees and the community towards academic and non-academic activities at SMPN 4 Taliwang has not been well organized because the role of education stakeholders in school management has not been optimized. Based on the results of the analysis of the weakness of the quality report cards of SMPN 4 Taliwang on the standard content of the sub-indicator, involving stakeholders in curriculum development is low, which only reaches 3 stars. Harlah school. The writing of this best practice aims to describe the strategy for implementing SBM at SMPN 4 Taliwang. Operational stages include the stages of preparation, implementation, and results of activities. Stakeholders who play a role are primary, secondary, and key stakeholders. The results achieved from the implementation of SBM are activities that must become a pre-eminent program at the district level. In improving the school climate, the implementation of SBM is able to increase public attention and concern in the form of active participation, moral and financial support, and cooperation in sustainable entrepreneurship development. The recommendation from the compilers is that the implementation of SBM with a strategy of optimizing the role of educational stakeholders will continue as a form of developing and improving the climate quality of SMPN 4 Taliwang in the future.
