Application Of The Group To Group Exchange (Jigsaw) Method In Increasing The Motivation To Learn Islamic Culture History Of Students Of Class X Sman 1 Lambu
The Jigsaw method is a group activity in solving problems to draw conclusions. The discussion is always directed to solving problems that give rise to various kinds of opinions and finally a conclusion is drawn that can be accepted by members in the group. With the application of the jigsaw method, the class atmosphere will become more lively and students' attention will be focused on the material presented in a competitive manner. because students not only hear or see the presentation of the material but can also exchange ideas directly with the teacher or their group friends in generating an idea or opinion. This method is very important to be applied to material that requires a story or history such as in the subject of Islamic Cultural History. This is what researchers will try to investigate, namely regarding the relationship between the jigsaw method and improving
students' learning motivation, especially class X students of SMAN 1 LAMBU. The purpose of this research is to find out whether the jigsaw method can increase students' learning motivation, and how to apply it in the learning process. So that later the results of this study can be used as consideration in choosing methods that can increase student learning motivation. In the learning process, it turns out that by applying the jigsaw model of cooperative learning methods, it can increase students' motivation towards learning material about the history of Islamic culture.
